Female sexual dysfunctions is a broad term for many common problems that

women face when it comes to sexual activity. It can include things like losing or

no desire for sex, experiencing pain during intercourse or unable to reach orgasm.


You’ve probably heard all your friends talking about having orgasms, but do you

really know what one is? If you’ve never had one before, it’s difficult to know

exactly what everyone else is talking about. After all, an orgasm is about 90%

feeling, so it’s difficult to describe in a way that a non-orgasmic person will truly

understand. But believe us, once you’ve had an orgasm, there will be NO mistaking

it! Most dysfunctions of the female sexual drive involve either the loss of desire

to have sex (libido) or the inability to have an orgasm.

An orgasm is essentially a release of sexual tension. Once you’re sufficiently

sexually stimulated and aroused, your body will tense up and blood flow to

your genitals increases. Your genital muscles will contract and relax over and

over again to release the tension, and the release feels VERY, VERY good.

While each person experiences orgasm slightly differently, and can even have

different types of orgasms at different times, it’s all always based on the same

principle of tension and release.

The way most people experience their first orgasm is through masturbation.

An orgasm can be a simple release of tension that feels good right around the

genital area, or it could send tingles, spasms,and waves of ecstasy throughout

your whole body. It all depends on how aroused you were before the release.

It’s a bit harder to achieve orgasm during intercourse, at least the first time,

but once you do, it gets easier. Just remember, the simultaneous orgasm between

sexual partners that’s so often portrayed in movies and romance novels is extremely

rare. Usually during sex, one person will have an orgasm before the other, often

by several minutes or more. And yes, it’s usually easier for men to experience orgasm

than it is for women.

Most women need quite a while to build up the appropriate tension to have an

orgasm, while men can often release within minutes (though there are

exceptions…..a small number of women can orgasm almost immediately upon

sexual stimulation). While it’s rare to find a man who can’t orgasm, there are many

women who’ve been having sex for years and claim to have never experienced one.

Some doctors classify this problem as part of the female sexual dysfunctions.

However, this issue is okay and perfectly natural, and it’s also something that

can be overcome. Many women who aren’t orgasmic can’t have one simply

because they haven’t learned how. Having an orgasm IS something that can be

taught. In fact, you owe it to yourself to learn how to orgasm, because it is your

birthright as a woman. This is one of the female sexual dysfunctions that’s easy to overcome!
